Child Development
Our training program is geared toward the development of the whole child in preparation for the First Grade. Emphasis is placed upon teaching the child to be self-sufficient, as much as possible and social interactions with other children.
We give simple instructions on dressing, tying shoes, using materials, putting things in placeand appreciation for property. We consistently strive to bring each child up to the appropriate age level (as a minimum) in the alphabet, counting, spelling, shapes and colors.
Games, music, art, physical and mental development activities and muscle control are presented daily. Ballet lessons and gymnastics are also available for a small fee.
Local field trips are scheduled throughout the year to acquaint the children with their community and to enhance their aesthetic nature. Periodic visits by public workers, such as teachers, policemen, firemen, etc. are included in our scheduling. |
