Wednesday Church School (Bible Study and Small Group Study)
A mid-day Bible Study is led by Rev. Michele Brown on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 11:30 AM. Pastor Philip Karl James teaches an evening Bible Study Class each 2nd - 5th Wednesday - 7:15-8:30 PM.

Discipleship Ministry
All new members and members are invited to participate in the Basic Discipleship Course I which meets on Sundays 8:45 - 9:45 AM. All church members are encouraged to take this course. The Basic Discipleship Class topics include Baptist beliefs, spiritual gifts, salvation, communion, baptism, and orientation to Mt. Zion. Members who complete this course receive certificates of graduation during a Sunday morning worship service. Other level courses will be announced as scheduled

Christian Nurture and Enrichment
Various opportunities are made available for members to participate in small groups, workshops, seminars and lectures. Christian tracts, brochures and devotional booklets (Advent and Lent) are also provided for the membership. Annual events include a Leadership Retreat, a three-day Christian Education Enrichment conference, Vacation Bible School, Holy Week and Advent services.
Mount Zion History (1869-Present)
The church history committee gathers and maintains the historical artifacts and documents of the church. The committee catalogs and maintains the church's archives. Members of the committee are available to give talks and tours of the church to new members and visitors.
College Student Connection
Students are kept connected to the church by newsletter, periodic mailings and an annual care package. When home for holidays and on vacation, students are encouraged to attend church school, Bible study and other educational activities.
Computers in Ministry
Computers in Ministry was initially funded by a grant from the Indianapolis Center for Congregations. The grant provided new computers for all offices. All computers all are connected to the internet. The grant provided for the development and maintenance of the church's website.

The Andrews Library The library was established by the late Dr. Richard T. Andrews, Sr. who pastured Mt. Zion from 1939 until his death in 1984. The library contains reference books and material for general interest and religious readings. The library provides resources for church leaders, teachers and members. From time to time, library activities include meetings, book reviews, lecture series and a story hour for children.
