After School Tutoring :  We are offering after school tutoring for Junior and Senior High School Students.  If you are interested in volunteering to assist in this tutoring program, please contact Minister LeWana Britt at 727-1158

Sept. 10th - 11th  Annual Louis Hardy Memorial Retreat - At Cedar Lake Bible Conference Center in Cedar Lake, Indiana.  Cost is $126 p/p and includes lodging, transportation, meals and materials.  A deposit of $25 will reserve your spot. Contact Sister Suzette Foster.

Sept. 10th-12th  MLK Laymen's Men's Retreat - Will also be held at the Cedar Lake Bible Conference Center in Cedar Lake, Indiana. The cost is $131.96 p/p and includes Meals.  Contact Deacon LeRoy Hooks.

Sept. 12th  Opportunity Knocks - Join us for the Fall Discipleship course, "What Saith the Scripture?" This 10-session course begins the 2nd Sunday in September in Dorcas Hall at 8:45 am.  Contact: Sister Joyce Johnson

Sept. 12th  Operation Christmas Child - We will begin collecting items on Sunday Sept 12th.  Bring all your donated items and place them in one large container and the youth will sort and distribute the items.  The following items will be useful:  coloring books, toys, crayons, dolls, play dough, reptiles/dinosaurs, power rangers, calculators, hard candy, toiletries, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap (wrapped), deodorant, chap stick, flashlights/batteries and Christian materials and other non-perishable items.  

For those who prefer to fill your own shoeboxes, you map get a box from the Overflow Room or provide your own.  Boxes will be inspected and religious material willbe added, so please don't seal your boxes.  Please decorate lids only. Also, please feel free to donate funds to help with shipping coasts.
