Ann M. Grissom Book Scholarship

Eligible: Minority, Indianapolis public high school seniors

This book award is open to a minority Indianapolis public high school senior who plans to pursue a career in Education. The book award was named for Ann M. Grissom-Wilkins, an African-American educator, and member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, who served as Chairperson of the R.T. Andrews Scholarship Selection committee and was a positive role model for young minorities aspiring to enter the education field.

The $1000 book award is awarded annually, and as funding permits, award renewal may be considered.

Again, this book award is open to an Indianapolis African-American High School Senior with plans to major in Education and attend a college/university within Indiana. Applicant must have a minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
